Andy Pettitte was thrilled at the news of Roger Clemens's signing with the SeaWolves. Their friendship goes back many years.
Clemens recently signed a $12.52 million contract with Vero Beach. "We wouldn't even be talking here now if Andy wasn't here," he said. "Andy signing down here just changed everything. I was surprised", Clemens stated. Pettitte had signed earlier with the SeaWolves, paving the way for Clemens to join a team that has a shot at winning big this year.

Both Clemens and Pettitte are represented by agent Randy Hendricks. Pictured above are Hendricks and Pettitte after Pettitte signed a multi-year deal with the SeaWolves.
